Managing Dumps
Your system generates a system dump when a severe error occurs. A system dump creates a picture of your system's memory contents, and can be used to analyze the system error. System dumps can also be initiated by a user with proper authority.
From the Manage Dumps task, you can manage system initiated dumps or initiate a system, service processor, or bulk power controller dump. You can also view the status of the dump as it progresses.
