Manage Dumps
The Manage Dumps task can be initiated in two ways. From the Service Management node, choose the Manage Dumps task to manipulate existing dumps on the HMC.
From this task, a dump file can be:
- Copied to media
- Copied to another remote system
- Called home to your service provider
- Deleted
As shown in the panel at left, however, you cannot initiate a dump from the Manage Dump task under Service Management. The tasks are greyed out.
