Creating a System Profile

Creating a system profile enables you to activate your managed system and its partitions in a given order using chosen partition profiles. It also allows you to validate that a given system profile is viable, i.e., that it can be activated and has designated resources available for its use.

To create a system profile:

  1. In the navigation pane, select Systems Management to list the system resources.
  2. Select Servers.
  3. Select the desired managed system.
  4. In the tasks pad, select Configuration to list the available tasks.
  5. Select Manage System Profiles. The Manage System Profile window displays.
