Setting FSP Time of Day through ASM

This feature is available only when the service processor is in standby mode. To set the initial time of day on your server through ASM:

  1. In the Navigation Pane, select Systems Management to list the system resources.
  2. Select Servers.
  3. Select the desired managed system.
  4. In the Tasks Pad, select Operations to list the corresponding tasks.
  5. Select Advanced System management (ASM).

 

 

The Launch ASM Interface screen is shown defining how the ASM interface will be accessed. Click OK to launch the browser interface.

 

 

 

 

The Advanced System Management interface is launched. Login with the userid and password. The default password for the general user ID is general, and the default password for the administrator ID is admin. You will be prompted to change these passwords after initial login.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

From the Advanced System Management menu, expand the System Configuration topic and choose Time of Day.

Enter the current date. Any change to the current date or time is applied to the service processor only, and is independent of any partition.

Enter the current time in UTC(Coordinated Universal Time) format . UTC is equivalent to mean solar time at the prime meridian (0 degrees longitude), formerly expressed as "Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)"
