Call-Home Setup Wizard
The Call-home Setup Wizard will guide you through the steps required for your system to automatically collect hardware service data and transmit them to your service center.
These steps are:
- Identifying customer contact information
- Specifying the type of connectivity to be used by this HMC to connect to service and support
- Determining which other HMCs can call home requests initiated by this HMC
When call-home configuration is complete, a weekly call-home of service information to your service provider will be scheduled. Prior to completing this Call Home setup, you will need to have your network settings configured, and some additional information available. Click the Help button to view these.
