The nzcontents command

Use the nzcontents command to display the IBM® Netezza® program names, the revision level, the build level, and the checksum of binaries.

This command takes several seconds to run and results in multiple lines of output. Programs with no revisions are either scripts or special binaries

Syntax

The nzcontents command uses the following syntax:

nzcontents [-h]

Description

The nzcontents command has the following characteristics.

Privileges required: You do not need special privileges to run the nzcontents command.
Common tasks: Use the nzcontents command to display the names of programs, and their revision and build level.

Usage

The following provides some sample usage:

To display the software programs and their revisions, enter:
