The following reference topics relate to configuring Decision Server Events.
Activation specifications
Activation specifications are used by the event runtime
and connectors to consume messages from the JMS provider.
Authentication with the Administration and User Console interfaces
During the Decision Server Events installation,
tables are created and populated with default users and groups that
can be used to determine access to the Administration and User Console
interfaces.
Environment variables
You might need to set environment variables correctly,
if required, for Decision Server Events to
function properly. Decision Server Events uses
various environment variables to configure the stand-alone technology
connectors and the event runtime.
Event runtime database settings
You can set properties for database tables in the event
runtime if you want to store different event runtime tables in different
databases.
Parameters for the manageprofiles command
Use the manageprofiles command supplied
by WebSphere® Application Server to
create, delete, augment, back up, or restore Decision Server Events profiles.
Properties
Configuration properties for the event runtime are stored
in WebSphere Application Server.
Properties determine the configurable behaviour of Decision Server Events.
User roles and administrative user roles
When Decision Server Events security
is enabled, different user roles and administrative user roles must
be defined, depending on the task.
