DB2 Version 10.1 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows

FP1: Threshold violations event monitor collects more application information

Staring in Version 10.1 Fix Pack 1 and later fix packs, the threshold violations event monitor can collect more information about the application that violated the threshold.

Some of the additional monitor elements now returned include, the application name, workload ID, and hostname of the machine the client application is connecting from. See event_thresholdviolations logical data group for a full list of the available elements. The addition of these monitor elements will not affect your existing threshold violations event monitors. If you want to collect the additional application information you must call the EVMON_UPGRADE_TABLES stored procedure, or drop and recreate your monitors.
