LO78849: DOCUMENTS DISAPPEAR FROM VIEWS AFTER UPGRADING TO DOMINO 9.0.1

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • On upgrading to Domino 9.0.1 it is found that some documents are
    disappearing from catagorised views within customers' bespoke
    databases where there are main and response documents.
    
    In some cases it is found that creating a new replica of the
    database or pressing Shift and F9 resolves the issue.
    
    However in some the majority of cases after the insertion of a
    number of documents the issue returns.
    

Local fix

  • Temporary fix some some customers is to press Shift and F9.

     defensive fix for SPR KHAN87ZUTS causes a regression because
     the default value for MAX_PERMUTE_RECURSE will block response
     insertions into a view index. This fix modifies that defensive
     fix to avoid the blocked insertions.
