APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When an SAP job fails the event rule does not trigger.  Abends
on FTAs
and Unix Dynamic Agents work but not SAP.  Conman command:
AWSBHU172E
The command issued for workstation SOLUTION1_P_SAP cannot be
performed,
because the workstation is pool, or dynamic pool, or remote
engine
workstation or broker, where the command is not supported.

Local fix

  • Additional comment:

A possible workaround is edit the SAP job definition and modify
the
string:

<jsdl:application name="r3" plugin="xajob">

in the following string:

<jsdl:application name="r3">

deleting the plugin part.

In this case the rules should be triggered correctly.

Problem summary

  • The dynamic job definition for SAP type  contains not valid tags
in XML not allowing to be parsed correctly during the event
submission scenario

Problem conclusion

  • This APAR will be released with TWS 9.2.0 fp 2 9.1.0 fp3 8.6.0
fp4
