Error description

  • During various Tivoli Storage Manager tasks, an error on a
    deduplicated object might be reported in the ACTLOG of the
    Tivoli Storage Manager server, such as:
    dd-mm-yyyy hh:mm:ss      ANR9999D_2644193874
    BfCheckEndToEnd(bfdedup.c:9033) Thread<51>: Data integrity error
    detected for deduplicated object 9876543210 (SESSION: 12345)
    
    Such tasks can be (but not limited to):
    Client restores
    Node replication
    Exports
    Generate backupsets
    
    The intent of this APAR is to mark such objects as damaged
    allowing them to be handled from a copy storagepool on the next
    action.
    
    Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
    For example in case of a client restore, following messages will
    be seen in the ACTLOG as well:

    dd-mm-yyyy hh:mm:ss      ANR0548W Retrieve or restore failed for
    session 12345 for node NODENAME (WinNT) processing file space
    <FS_NAME> 6 for file <FILE_NAME> stored as Backup - error
    detected. (SESSION: 12345)
    dd-mm-yyyy hh:mm:ss      ANE4035W (Session: 12345, Node:
    NODENAME)  File <FILE_NAME> currently unavailable on server.
    (SESSION: 12345)
