APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • During system test multiple user interface and non-catalog
    product license issues were found.
    - extremely long product IDs overwrite the license type in
    the user interface table.
    - allows addition of product IDs to the catalog with
    mis-matched type ( server or PVU )
    - after importing a virtual system pattern containing script
    package with licenses, does not allow the product ID to be
    added.
    - original product ID in a package is overwritten with a
    product ID added using the user interface.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • There were issues with processing multiple product IDs in script
    packages.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Code was updated to support multiple product ID processing.
