Error description

  • When using the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator REST API, the number
of connections from Websphere Liberty Profile WLP server to the
Database grow constantly and the following error message is
displayed in Liberty profile message.log after some time.

maximum size exceeded 788
times in 300000(ms).   Consider increasing MaxSize on pool:
mssqlPool_NoTrans

Local fix

  • Increasing the NoTrans pool maxsize will delay the problem
however the number of connections to the Database will continue
to grow.
