PQ03285: ADSM RESTORES AND RETRIEVES HANG WHEN RUNNING TCPIP 3.2.

Error description

• TCP/IP Clients hang when attempting to restore and/or
  retrieve large data files.
  

Local fix

• The customer should code IUCVTCPIP in the ADSM MVS server
  option file and start the server.

  An ADSM client hangs when attempting to restore a file. The hang
  occurs when in the middle of issuing receives for the file.
  The following ADSM error messages are associated with the
  failure: ANR5092E, ANR0480W, and ANR0482W.
  The TCP/IP packet trace showed that the client had acknowledged
  the transmission, but the process hung after transmission.
  

Problem conclusion

• Macro EZACACB was changed to ensure the ACB initial Write
  flag is set correctly when processing a socket WRITE or
  SEND request.

Temporary fix

• This problem may be circumvented for ADSM by adding the
  undocumented option IUCVTCPIP to the ADSM/MVS Server options
  file. This option is intended to be used only at the request of
  IBM service and should be removed when the formal fix for APAR
  PQ03285 is installed. The syntax is simply to add a line to the
  end of the ADSM server options file containing only the keyword
  with no parameters, example:
     IUCVTCPIP
   No changes are required for the ADSM Clients.
