Multiple security vulnerabilities exist in the IBM SDK, Java™ Technology Edition, shipped with IBM Tivoli Provisioning Manager

Vulnerability Details

The Common Agent Services component together with the bundled WebSphere Application Server is shipped with an IBM SDK based on Oracle JDK. Oracle has released October 2013 critical patch updates (CPU) which contain security vulnerability fixes and the IBM SDK, Java™ Technology Edition, has been updated to include those fixes. The IBM SDK has also been updated to fix security vulnerabilities specific to the IBM SDK.

For Common Agent Services, the recommended solution is to apply the remediation fix indicated below for the appropriate TPM version to upgrade to IBM SDK, Java™ Technology Edition, 5.0 SR16 FP4.
