Error description

• In a partitioned DB2 environment the following known issue
  exists-
  In DB2 the detach is asynchronous, it is needed to verify
  successful completion before creating the new partition, and
  before dropping the detached table. This is not done actually.
  The script keeps running before the new partition is created. It
  needs to Query the STATUS column of the SYSCAT.DATAPARTITIONS
  catalog view.

  Problem Description: In DB2 partitioned table environment,
  data trimmer process may fail due to the reason that in DB2,
  detaching a partition is an asynchronous job, there is a
  background job does the detach work. So we need add checking to
  make sure the partition gets detached completely before creating
  a new partition using the
  same partition id.

  Recommendation: The fix will be in ITCAM for Application
  Diagnostics 7.1 FP4 (7.1.0.4). Apply ITCAM for AD
  7.1.0.4 when it is available.

  The workaround is to recreate partition tables and restart DB2
