Abstract

The IBM WebSphere Partner Gateway is shipped with an IBM Java SDK that is based on the Oracle SDK. The April 2013 Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPU) contained various security vulnerability fixes for the Oracle JDKs. The IBM Java SDK that WebSphere Partner Gateway ships is similarly affected.

VULNERABILITY DETAILS

CVE-2013-0169 - The TLS protocol does not properly consider timing side-channel attacks, which could allow remote attackers to conduct distinguishing attacks and plain-text recovery attacks via statistical analysis of timing data for crafted packets, aka the "Lucky Thirteen" issue.
