How to display more than 60 items in a Tree Prompt

Problem

By default, a Tree Prompt in Report Studio will retrieve the first 20 items, and then display a link at the end of the list. When this link is clicked, the next 20 items are retrieved. This link will then be displayed again. However it will not be visible after 60 items are retrieved. This is due to the default settings on the Package.

Resolving The Problem

To change the default:
1. Navigate to the relevant Package in Cognos Connection.
2. Click on the More... link for your package.
3. Click on Modify the package Configuration...
4. Change the Maximum member limit in a data tree level to 200.
5. Run your report again and you should see all items.
It will return 20 items with each click of More... until the limit is reached. You change the limit to whatever you wish.
