Question

DB2 V10 no longer supports DBRMs - what needs to be done for TDS z/OS?

Cause

DB2 V10

Answer

DBRM-based plans are being phased out but DB2 V10 still supports them by

automatically binding the plans into packages either when the bind
command is run (in which case message DSNT203I is issued) or dynamically
when the application is run.

Any TDSz issues with DBRM-based plans when migrating fro
DB2 V9 to DB2 V10 are DB2 issues that can be resolved either
automatically by allowing DB2 to rebind the plans or pre-emptively by
rebinding the DBRM-based plans into packages as documented by DB2. The
method for using packages described in the wiki article (see RELATED URL below)
