IV51667: CANNOT MAKE ANY CHANGES IN DB CONFIG APPLICATION.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In case that a user signs into Maximo with non English
  language, the following error happens on clicking the
  save button in the database configuration application
  after making any changes.
  
  BMXAA0667E - The value of the changed attribute could
  not be assigned.
  
  This issue starts happening after applying TPAE 7.5.0.5.
  It is recreated in L2 test environment where FP5 is applied
  on MAM 7.5. But it is also reported in SCCD 7.5.1.1
  which includes TPAE 7.5.0.5.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1) Set up MAM 7.5.0.5 environment where base language is
  non English.
  
  2) Sign into Maximo. You need to also specify non English
  language on the welcome page.
  
  3) From "Database Configuration" application, open an
  object. Although I select SR in this case, the problem
  can happen with any objects.
  
  4) On "Relationships" tab, click "New Row" and specify
  the following values.
  
  Relationship : PMR75314
  Where Clause : 1=1
  Child Object : PERSON
  Remarks      : test
  
  5) On clicking the save button, the following error occurs.
  
  BMXAA0667E - The value of the changed attribute could not
  be assigned.
  
  6) On "Attributes" tab, click "New Row" and specify the
  following values.
  
  Attributes   : PMR75314
  Description  : PMR75314
  Type         : ALN
  Length       : 50
  Title        : PMR75314
  Alias        : PMR75314
  
  7) On clicking the save button, the following error occurs
  again.
  
  BMXAA0667E - The value of the changed attribute could
  not be assigned.
  
  But changes should be saved without any error messages.
  So far, the problem is reported with Japanese and German.
  

Local fix

• If you select English on Welcome page, the problem does not
  happen.
