Emailing is frequently used by end users to receive recurring scheduled reports, distribute reports to both internal and external users, and receive complex batch reports. New functionality in Maximo Base Services 184.108.40.206 extends the emailing file format to include xls in addition to the existing pdf format.
Providing the user the ability to receive his scheduled, emailed reports in xls file format is key in empowering him to analyze the report data to meet his individual business or project needs.
In Maximo Base Services 220.127.116.11, users can now choose to email their scheduled reports in either pdf or xls file format. Additionally, users can modify their existing report schedules to utilize the new xls format, or retain existing pdf format versions.
Additionally, updates have been made to the Report Usage Log Table and Report so administrators can view what reports are being scheduled, and in what types of emailed file formats they are being received.
