The XIV Storage Systems have preconfigured user accounts that are used for maintenance purposes. These accounts have fixed passwords.

AFFECTED PRODUCTS AND VERSIONS:
All XIV Storage Systems (MTM 2810-A14, 2812-A14, 2810-114, 2812-114), all code levels.
REMEDIATION:
Upgrade code.
For 2810-114 and 2812-114 systems, upgrade to level 11.1.1 or higher. For 2810-A14 and 2812-A14 systems, upgrade to level 10.2.4.e-2 or higher.
Disable these maintenance accounts using the xiv_support_disable XCLI command. The accounts can then be enabled when required for service via the xiv_support_enable XCLI command.
