Problem(Abstract)

When trying to install the topologyEditor, it does not prompt for default install location and tries to install into a /tmp/install.dir.XXXXX/NULL directory that is erased after the install finishes.

Symptom

TopologyEditor does not install

Cause

You have already installed topologyEditor and then removed the install directory without running the uninstall.bin utility. There is an InstallAnywhere registry file that needs to be removed.

Resolving the problem

Remove the file /var/.com.zerog.registry.xml and re-install topologyEditor.
