"Currently running update" message in IWR Report Admin tool, but the report set is not being published (Hung Process)
Resolving the problem
The IWRCONFIG -cmd ResetReportSet command fails to reset the Report Set. IWR Report Administration indicates the Report Set is already deleted. KB document 124881 / 122198 also fail to resolve this issue. The IWR Data Store (*.db files) will need to be recreate manually, and all Report Sets will have to be republished.
Run the shell scripts before proceeding
s etup.sh and setupf.sh are in the cer2 directory
iwrsetup.sh and setcdmvars.sh are in the bin
. ./<shell file>
1- Stop services using CONFIGCP (Run CONFIGCP, CD to SERVERNAME, STOP)
2- Backup the *.DB Files from the IWR\DATABASE directory and then delete them
3- Back in the CONFIGCP, cd to "IBM Cognos Impromptu Web Reports"
4- APPLY (if there are errors, exit CONFIGCP and run the shell scripts again)
5- CD .. in CONFIGCP
You should have the services now running (Run PS -EF |grep Cognos)
Re-publish the Report Sets
