Error description

  • When changing the "Reserve resources for availability" setting
    for a Cloud Group from No to Yes, there is no warning to notify
    the administrator that the Cloud Group may no longer have
    available resources to reserve based on the current capacity
    already used up in the Cloud Group.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The cloud group setting "Reserve resources for availability"
    needs to provide additional information to warn the user that
    setting it to "Yes" could make resources unavailable for
    starting virtual machines.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A new hover help message and setting message provide additional
    information to warn users about possibly depleting current
    system resources.
