Problem
Receive errors when try to start content manager from Cognos Configuration:CFG-ERR-0106 Cognos Configuration received no response from the IBM Cognos ReportNet service in the alloted time. Check that Cognos ReportNet service is available and properly configured.
Symptom
Cognos Configuration: CFG-ERR-0106 Cognos Configuration received no response from the Cognos ReportNet service in the alloted time. Check that Cognos ReportNet service is available and properly configured. crnserver.log: CM-SYS-5003 Content Manager is unable to access the content store database. Verify your database connection parameters and then contact your database administrator. CM-CFG-5073 An unexpected event occurred while loading object class definitions into the content store.ORA-25153: Temporary Tablespace is EmptyORA-06512: at "COGNOS.CMOBJNAMES_HELPER_TR", line 2ORA-04088: error during execution of trigger 'COGNOS.CMOBJNAMES_HELPER_TR'
Resolving The Problem
Check the Temporary Tablespace for the schema owner that is creating the Content Store and see if files are missing from the Temporary Tablespace. If so have the DBA create the required temp files, run the dbClean_<database type>.sql file from the Cognos\crn\configuration\schemas\content directory and start the service in Cognos Configuration. All the tables should get created in the database for Cognos ReportNet.
