Problem summary


    

  • When InfoSphere Information Server is configured for HTTPS, then
the XML Stage cannot be launched from the DataStage Designer
Client.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The XML Stage was configured to use "https" rather than "http"
in its web service call when the user has an SSL connection to
the DataStage server.
If the WAS root certificate is not already installed in the
Client machine's Trusted Root Certification Authorities Store,
when the user launches the Assembly Editor or the Schema Library
Manager a prompt appears asking to install the certificates.
