Error description

  • When using the Pager function in an xPage and there are multiple
pages on it a user will select elements from the first page for
example. When they click "Next" or "2" to get to the next page
the selected items from page 1 are send in the request like:

view:_id1:viewPanel1:1:vi... 8FA
view:_id1:viewPanel1:4:vi... 906
view:_id1:viewPanel1:5:vi... 90A
view:_id1:viewPanel1:6:vi... 90E

If others are selected on that page:

view:_id1:viewPanel1:17:v... 93A
view:_id1:viewPanel1:18:v... 93E
view:_id1:viewPanel1:19:v... 942

The new selections are remembered but the old selections are
not. The selections last only to the next page that is selected
but moving on or back from that page means the selection is
lost.

Local fix

  • Users must perform actions only on documents that are on a
single page of the Pager control.

Problem summary

  • This APAR is closed as FIN. We have deferred the fix to a
 future release.
