Troubleshooting
Problem
This document explains why the change date does not match when it is displayed by the DSPOBJD and DSPFD commands.
Resolving The Problem
The DSPOBJD and DSPFD change dates do not match. Why?
Example: The customer copied new members into a file on 01/17/98. When using the Display Object Description (DSPOBJD) command, the last change date is 01/12/98. When using the Display File Description (DSPFD) command, the last change date is 01/17/98.
According to the help text for last changed date on the DSPOBJD command, this field does not change until the next SAVLIB is run.
