APAR Error Description / Circumvention

The V5R4 version of the Retrieve Device Description
(QDCRDEVD) API does not return the TCP/IP port number
of a virtual display device in active state.

CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE27936' :
-------------------------------
QDCRDEVD API has been modified to correctly return the TCP/IP
port number.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR 'SE27936' :
----------------------------------
Dumping the device description via DMPSYSOBJ command will show
the TCP/IP port number at offset 262 of the associated space.
