Abstract

OSP-TCPIP-INCORROUT QDCRDEVD API DOES NOT RETURN PORT NUMBER
END OF ABSTRACT

Error Description

API QDCRDEVD does not return the remote port in V5R4M0. It will
result in the ip-address and the remote port on V5R2M0 and      
V5R3M0, but will result in only the ip-address and every time  
the remote port of zero ('0') at V5R4M0.                        

Problem Summary

The V5R4 version of the Retrieve Device Description (QDCRDEVD)  
API does not return the TCP/IP port number of a virtual        
display device in active state.                                

Problem Conclusion

QDCRDEVD API has been modified to correctly return the TCP/IP  
port number.                                                    

Temporary Fix

Circumvention


Dumping the device description via DMPSYSOBJ command will show  

the TCP/IP port number at offset 262 of the associated space.
