Problem
A user receives an error message when running report to Excel.
Symptom
In the browser:
DPR-ERR-2079 Firewall Security Rejection. Your request was rejected by the security firewall.
In the cogserver.log file:
no CAF cookie - no backup passport to check signature check signature failed: salted => falsecheck signature failed: passport => null
Resolving The Problem
Have the user Renew Credentials
Steps:
- Logon to Cognos Connection
- From the Tools menu, select My Preferences
- Select the Personal Tab
- Under the heading Credentials, click the link for Renew the credentials
