    #300) MSGIEC161I 120-053 RC120 RSN53 installing OEM Candle
OMEGAMON II 5.2.0 for CICS after migrating to Z/os
1.3 or above. In Z/OS 1.3 a change to the INDEX CISIZE
algorthm results in larger INDEX CISIZES than on
prior releases. This is described by IBM info apar
II13288. The RC120 RSN53 occurs when the BUFFERSIZE
specified in the OEM OMEGAMON ACB is not large enough to
accomodate a full CI of the new larger size.
          CANDLE CORP: RESOLUTION:
    C2520 IEC 161I Reason code 120 - 053 ans it's VSAM file RKC2TDOO
    says Bufferspace inadequate
    Problem:
A change to DFP, documented by IBM APAR II13288, results in the
recalculation of the VSAM INDEX CISIZE for whichever datasets ar
affected. The LSRPOOL definitions for the CUA address space do
include a pool with a 10240 byte buffer. As a result, message
120-053 and/or message "KLVVS001 OPEN FAILED" is received and th
    can not be started.

    Solution:
If you have PTF QCI4581 applied, then you must select OMEGAMON I
CICS product configuration and Recreate Runtime Members for eac
the RTEs that the product is installed in.

If you do not have PTF QCI4581 applied please follow these steps
    circumvent the problem:
    1. ShutdownOmegamon II for CICS address space
    2. Copy &rhilev.RKANPAR(KC2SYS00) to &rhilev.RKANPAR(KC2SYS0X)
    3. Edit &rhilev.RKANPAR(KC2SYS00)
    4. Replicate line LSRPOOL(2048,8) and change 2048 to 16384, so
    looks like: LSRPOOL(16384,8)
You must restart the Omegamon II For CICS CUA address space for
    above changes to take affect.
    01/22/04.
#301) Receive the message IEC161I 052(13)-84 when attempting
to open an AIX file to CICS. GRS display for SYSVSAM
shows the path and the base cluster allocated to CICS,
but CICS does not see the file open. The inhibit update
bit is off. IDA0192B is at UA01130. Fix is CA-ALLOCATE.
           PTF is QO46521. 01/28/04
#302) Automon/RDO for Os/390 by Unicom Systems in BETA test
version set the default DEFINE CLUSTER of its COMMAND
STORAGE file. It set the default to (3,4). The 4 is the
"Cross-system" shareoption. After defining the file as
(3,4) it no longer extends, receiving CICS errors:
           AP 04E1 FCFR EXIT - FUNCTION(WRITE) RESPONSE(EXCEPTION)
    REASON(INSUFFICIENT_SPACE) ACCMETH_RETURN_CODE(00000000)
Per the Access Method Services manual description of
           cross-system shareoption 4:
"Output processing is limited to update or add processing that
does not change either the high-used relative byte address
(RBA) or the RBA of the high key data control interval if
     DISP=SHR is specified."
SOLUTION: The OEM vendor has changed the default
           SHAREOPTION to (3,3). 2/13/04.
    303 - Receive msgIEC161i 064(0000000C 000C0004)-0341 opening
a VSAM data set under RLS (would receive different sfi
data opening under regular VSAM), after VSAM data set
was REPROd using EMC's VSAM Assist. Fix number is
VAS67345 and needs to be applied to both VSAM Assist and
to EMC's (Performance Essentials) VSAM IO (VIO) product.
