Question

Does IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software support the Subclipse plug-in?

Cause

Subclipse is a third party plug-in that allows Eclipse (the Open Source project on which Rational Application Developer is based) to connect to Subversion SCM.

Answer

Currently the proposal to add a Subclipse project to Eclipse has been withdrawn.

There is currently an ongoing project to provide Subversion (SVN) integration into Eclipse.

Until either of these plug-ins ship with Eclipse and are incorporated into IBM products based on Eclipse (such as Rational Application Developer), IBM cannot claim to support these plug-ins.
