The TSRM federation toolkit contains documentation and TDI artifacts for building a set of TSRM servers federated into a two-tiered model.
The Tivoli Service Request Manager (TSRM) 7.1 Federation Toolkit Integration provides Tivoli Directory Integrator (TDI) components to federate TSRM 7.1 instances. TDI allows for reusable and customizable components that make adapting an integration solution to a customer environment efficient and easy to use.
The toolkit include the following artifacts:
- TDI Assembly lines for Ticket integration: include mapping of main fields and can be customized and adapted according customer needs.
- Readme file with instructions for installation and customization.
The federated system comprises two tiers of TSRM servers. The first tier is where TSRM federated data originates. The second tier is a single TSRM server to which first tier data is copied. This aggregation of data to the second tier system allows for activities requiring read access to data across TSRM instances, such as generating reports across multiple TSRM server instances.

- Tivoli Service Request Manager 7.1 Product must be installed on customer's environment
- Tivoli Directory Integrator 6.1 with fixpack 4 must be installed on customer environment
