To remove the fan assembly:

1. Slide the HMC forward to gain access to the fan doors.

2. Slide the two blue latches on the fan door and raise the door panel. The LED near the connector of the failing fan assembly is lit.
3. Disconnect the cable of the failing fan from the connector.
4. Gently pull the cable from the channel.
5. Pull up on the orange tab to lift the fan out of the HMC.
