Customizing the HMC

The Guided Setup Wizard is typically used for all of the HMC system customization tasks presented earlier. However, HMC customization and modification can also be done from the HMC Management work pane. You can:

• View HMC Events
• Shut Down or Restart
• Schedule Operation
• Backup or Restore HMC Data
• Save Upgrade Data
• Change Network Settings
• Test Network Connectivity
• Change User Interface settings
• View Network Topology
• Change Date and Time
