Adding a Managed System

The HMC automatically 'discovers' the initial managed system connected directly to its' ethernet connector. To add another managed system to the HMC:

  1. In the Navigation Pane, select Systems Management to list the system resources.
  2. Select Servers.
  3. In the Tasks Pad, select Connections to list the corresponding tasks.
  4. Select Add Managed System.
  5. Follow the directions in the Add Managed Systems window to connect to the desired managed system.
