Adding
a Managed System
The HMC automatically
'discovers' the initial managed system connected directly to its'
ethernet connector. To add another managed system to the HMC:
- In the Navigation
Pane, select Systems Management to list the system
resources.
- Select
Servers.
- In the Tasks
Pad, select Connections to list the corresponding
tasks.
- Select Add
Managed System.
- Follow the
directions in the Add Managed Systems window
to connect to the desired managed system.
To try adding a managed system, click Take a Tour at left.
