IBM Software Value Plus Support Provider: Value Added Reseller (VAR) or solution providers who resell Software Value Plus software and provide first level support to end users.
Applications must be submitted electronically for the IBM Software Value Plus (SVP) Support Provider remarketer type for each IBM product group. Support plans will still need to be completed and sent to the appropriate geography in-box. The Support Provider remarketer type is limited to specific software products. Unless specifically called out on this website, the Support Provider option is not offered.
To participate, IBM Business Partners must meet the requirements and be formerly approved through the IBM Software Value Plus (SVP) application process. The requirements will vary by product group and include a signed IBM Business Partner agreement for Software Value Plus.

You must apply using the instructions provided for each product group. The SVP Support Provider operations guide provides the specific participation requirements and how to demonstrate they are met.
During the application process you must choose the product group and remarketer type for which you are applying. This must be done in every country in which you wish to conduct business and have a PartnerWorld membership record.
You should consider purchasing the value package, a bundle of benefits that will help you effectively develop, sell and deploy SVP product groups. The benefits include access to IBM Software, pre deployment technical support, and reimbursement for select classes and tests that lead to IBM certification.
Announcement: In support of IBM’s goal of preserving, enhancing, and simplifying our channel program, IBM has converged the Software ValueNet channel program into the Software Value Plus channel program to effectively create a single, comprehensive, authorized reselling program. Business Partners will be part of a select ecosystem of IBM Business Partners for the respective product group you are currently authorized to resell (and optionally support) within the Software Value Plus program, ensuring that your investment is protected.
IBM Software Value Plus Business Partners will be required to utilize the IBM Business Partner agreement for Software Value Plus and the Software Value Plus Business Partner operations guide.
