z Systems software learning path

The roadmap (PDF, 25.9KB) contains activities which fall into three primary categories: mandatory learning, optional learning and specialty learning. Mandatory learning is required to participate in the TCI for z Systems Software channels program. Optional learning will help improve your skills and success. Specialty learning will deepen your knowledge of z Systems Software brand solutions, and successful completion of the brand sales mastery tests is required in order to maximize the discounts you receive on z Systems OTC tools. There is also a section entitled Hot new learning, where new highly-recommended learning material will be posted as appropriate.

z101: The value and differentiation of z Systems
This is where learning to sell z Systems software begins. This eLearning course was created especially for our z Systems Business Partners, and was updated in 2015 to include the new z13 system. If you would like to share this eLearning with your customer, please encourage them to go to Web Lecture Services and download the customer version of z101.

Important instructions:

  1. Click the download link for each module and save the .exe installer file.
  2. Run the .exe file to install the course module as a program.

Complete online workload pricer training. The New User Guide (PDF, 7.93MB) will help you become familiar with the Workload Pricer application. The Update for Experienced Users (PDF, 2.44MB) shows the new functions added with each release.
