Q: How do new product releases affect our Ready for Cloud and Smarter Infrastructure status?

A: Your product is validated for a specific product version and platform. If you issue a major version release (for example, version 3.0 to 4.0) or add a platform, your product validation needs to be updated or revalidated. If IBM issues a new major release, we may verify that back-level integrations remain functional, although we encourage you to revalidate your product with the new software release.

Q: How long can I use the Ready for Cloud and Smarter Infrastructure mark on my product?

A: You may use the Ready for Cloud and Smarter Infrastructure mark for three years on the version of your product which was validated. If you issue a major version release (for example version 3.0 to 4.0), add a platform, or if your validation is over three years old, you must revalidate your product to continue to use the logo mark.
