Q: What is the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence technical validation?

A: Ready for IBM Security Intelligence helps promote a vibrant ecosystem to nurture and support Business Partner products that extend the core value of IBM Security solutions for the design, development, and delivery of software and systems to support new capabilities and markets.

The Ready for IBM Security Intelligence mark identifies Business Partner products that have been validated against IBM specifications for integration with IBM Security software and systems delivery offerings.


Q: How do new product releases affect the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence status of my product?

A: Your product is validated for a specific product version and platform. If you issue a major version release (for example, version 3.0 to 4.0) or add a platform, your product must be revalidated.


Q: How long can I use the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence mark on my product?

A: You may use the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence mark for three years on the version of your product that was validated.

If you issue a major version release (for example version 3.0 to 4.0), add a platform, or if your validation is over three years old, you must revalidate your product to continue to use the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence mark.

 

Validation process and requirements

Q: Who should I contact if I run into problems or questions as I'm going through the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence process?

A: You can contact us by sending an email to pwisv@cn.ibm.com with "Ready for IBM Security Intelligence" in the subject line of the email.


Q: Which IBM Security products can I integrate with?

A: For a list of the IBM Security products and a high-level integration description, learn about the different integration tracks, products, and business models involved with each track.


Q: Can I refer to my product as Ready for IBM Security Intelligence and use the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence mark as soon as testing is completed?

A: You must accept the "IBM PartnerWorld Agreement International Supplement for the Use of IBM Trademarks - Ready for IBM Security Intelligence" before you can refer to your product as Ready for IBM Security Intelligence. We recommend that you review the terms and conditions of the supplement in the early stages of your integration project.


Q: How do I sign the IBM PartnerWorld Agreement - International - Supplement for the Use of IBM Trademarks - Ready for IBM Security Intelligence?

A: Your Authorized Profile Administrator (APA) must accept the supplement. This agreement cannot be accepted until your integration has been tested and approved. When this occurs, your APA will receive an email from PartnerWorld requesting that your company accept the supplement. This email also provides complete instructions for how to sign the online supplement.

Q: How do we obtain the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence mark to use once our solution is validated?

A: After you have successfully completed validation and your Authorized Profile Administrator (APA) has signed the required supplement, your APA may download the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence mark.

In addition to the terms and conditions set forth in the trademark license supplement, we expect you to display the mark in accordance with the specifications outlined in the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence mark usage guidelines.

Q: If my solution was validated for Ready for IBM Rational software, do I need to revalidate my solution with Ready for IBM Security Intelligence?

A: If your solution is currently within its validation period for Ready for IBM Rational software, your validation will automatically transfer to Ready for IBM Security Intelligence. Your solution will continue to be validated for Ready for IBM Security Intelligence up to the remainder of your current validation period.

You will need to follow the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence process the next time your solution needs validation.


Q: Which Rational products are currently being validated with Ready for IBM Security Intelligence?

A: Solutions previously validated with the Rational AppScan product offerings will be validated with Ready for IBM Security Intelligence.

Q: If my solution was validated for the former Q1 Labs Security Intelligence Partner Program (SIPP), do I need to revalidate my solution with Ready for IBM Security Intelligence?

A: If your solution is currently within its validation period for SIPP, your validation will automatically transfer to Ready for IBM Security Intelligence. Your solution will continue to be validated for Ready for IBM Security Intelligence up to the remainder of your current validation period.

You will need to follow the Ready for IBM Security Intelligence process the next time your solution needs validation.


Q: Which Q1 Labs products are currently being validated with Ready for IBM Security Intelligence?

A: Solutions previously validated with the Q1 Labs QRadar product through SIPP will be validated with Ready for IBM Security Intelligence:
