Question & Answer
Question
The DB2® Content Manager OnDemand Web Enablement Kit (ODWEK) CGI functioned correctly before the upgrade. When upgrading the ODWEK CGI to V8.4.0.0 on Microsoft® Windows®, I followed the installation instructions in the readme file, but now I receive one of the following errors when I invoke the ODWEK CGI: Using IBM HTTP Server: Internal Server Error Using Microsoft IIS: CGI Error The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.
Cause
The readme file states that the following files should be copied from the OnDemand Web Enablement Kit program files directory to your Web server's CGI script directory after upgrading:
arswww.cgi
icudt30.dll
icuin30.dll
icuuc30.dll
The icu*.dll file names are incorrect. Also, a build error occurred in ODWEK V8.4.0.0 on Windows causing a dependency for the library ctreestd.dll, which is located in the OnDemand Web Enablement Kit program files directory.
Answer
To correct this issue, remove any previous ODWEK libraries from your CGI script directory and copy the following files from your OnDemand Web Enablement Kit program files directory to your Web server's CGI script directory:
ctreestd.dll
arswww.cgi
icudt36.dll
icuuc36.dll
icuin36.dll
