  7. Once the final nomination has been submitted, the nomination form cannot be edited.

  8. All nomination forms must be finalized and submitted for judging consideration. Nominations saved as drafts will not be judged.

  9. IBM Business Partners may be nominated in more than one category. A particular solution, however, can only be nominated in one solution-based award category.

  10. For the Best of Show, Best Cloud Solution, Best Data Center Management Solution, Best Endpoint and Mobility Solution, Best Asset & Facilities Management Solution, and Value Added Distributor Award categories, Business Partners may nominate their own solution or be nominated by IBM employees or customers. For the ISM Library Solution Excellence Award, and Service Management Partner Connect Award, only IBM employees can nominate Business Partner candidates.

  11. Winners and finalists for Best Cloud Solution, Best Data Center Management Solution, Best Endpoint and Mobility Solution, Best Asset & Facilities Management Solution (Smarter Infrastructure), and Value Added Distributor Award categories will be announced during the Business Partner Summit at the 2013 Pulse Conference in Las Vegas, NV. The Best of Show Award Winner is announced on the Expo Floor, the evening of BP Summit, following judging on the show floor. One of the criteria for selecting the winner amongst the finalists for these categories is the partner's show of support for our brand's largest event. Hence, the winners must be represented by a company senior executive at the Pulse Conference, at least for the Business Partner Summit day.

  12. At least one customer reference is required for the Best of Show. IBM must be able to contact the reference for verification purposes.

  13. IBM Business Partners must indicate their company's consent to submit the nomination by providing the name and title of an authorized representative from their company. IBM employees nominating an IBM Business Partner must provide the name and title of an authorized representative from the IBM Business Partner company as proof of identity and consent to the nomination.

  14. By consenting to the nomination, IBM Business Partners are also consenting to all promotional activity as described in the Company consent and authorization paragraph on the submission tab.

  15. Please do not send products with your nomination. If you would like the judges to review an executable demo, please provide a Web address along with instructions on how to access the demo on the nomination form. These instructions may be provided in the 'Additional Information' field form, if necessary.

  16. Do not forward information that you or any third party consider to be confidential.

  17. Nominations must showcase the successful integration of a solution containing at least one IBM Tivoli product.

  18. The solution must have been deployed in the 2011 or 2012 calendar years.

  19. As one final set of advice, here is the information the judges look for in nominated solutions:

    • Entries will be judged on how each solution benefits the customer or ultimate end user.

    • Nominations must demonstrate excellence in delivering impressive business value solutions to customers based on integrations with Tivoli software.

    • Elegance of the solution. Judges are not looking only for a compilation of every product feature, but want to know how those features were utilized to provide a valuable, easy-to-use solution for the end-user

    • Entries will be considered based upon innovation, uniqueness, repeatability and the inclusion of current IBM products and program offerings. IBM program offerings may include education, number of certifications, co-marketing, campaigns, lead generation etc.

    • Creativity of the solution. Does it use our Tivoli software in innovative ways and cutting-edge solution areas?

    • Return On Investment statements backed up with figures (amount of money saved or percent improved)

    • Productivity statements.

    • Repeatable solutions.

    • Complete and concise nominations.

    • Solutions that utilize the most current releases of IBM Tivoli software products.

    • Good and verifiable customer references, as requested

Judging: Judges will consist of a panel of IBM subject matter experts and executives.
