Lotus Symphony

Lotus Symphony. One of IBM's initiative cost saving strategies in the Public Sector

Lotus Symphony is IBM's Microsoft Office suite alternative that is FREE of charge. It is an IBM robust product, with document, presentation and spread-sheet applications that are inter-operable with your existing Microsoft Office software.

Why is IBM doing this?

IBM supports the use of open standards, and wants to encourage customers to steer clear of vendor contracts that lock them into closed environments and technology.

There are three applications that make up Lotus Symphony:

IBM Lotus Symphony Documents. IBM Lotus Symphony Spreadsheets. IBM Lotus Symphony Presentations.
