I want to apologize for those of you who may be trying to access our Tivoli and Service Management pages and functions in the beta ibm.com community environment these past couple of weeks.
The good news: We've had over 700 people join the ibm.com community environment since we recently launched.
The bad news: As with any beta solution, we're always prepared to run into performance challenges. Right now, we are aware that the server isn't performing well and that pages are loading slowly. So if you receive a server busy or bad gateway error message, you know why. Please bear with us!
Now for some more good news: We are aware of the problem and working on an immediate action plan to upgrade to a more stable environment in the next few weeks. We blocked some MSN crawlers in the meanwhile to improve performance. In the next few weeks, we will also be upgrading to the official Lotus Connections 2.0 GA code, which will eliminate some of the bugs that existed in the beta version.
