Happy Halloween! I leave the office to travel to India, Paris, Florida, and the Bahamas on business and then vacation for a bit, and all sorts of huge IBM announcements take place while I'm gone. Quick catch up. Here are a few of my favorites:
IBM clearly points out that Ginni Rommetty was appointed IBM CEO and President based on her merit and achievements, and not progressive politics. Of course, we'd expect nothing less. But, hey, come on, ladies, it's time to celebrate! This is a great inspiration and role model for the future and our daughters.
In addition to these big hitter announcements, IBM held its annual Information on Demand Conference in Las Vegas this month. You can catch some of the live action on the conference and Expo floors via IBM Software Livestream. A big congratulations to the IBM Business Partner award winners announced at the conference.
And a quick reminder to Pulse conference fans, the Pulse 2012 call for speakers closes on November 7, 2011. Make sure to get your proposals in!
Signing off to take my son tricking or treating. He's Harry Potter this year. :)
