Today, I want to give a big shout out to Kathy Mandelstein and her team for earning a social media marketing best practice in Mashable's article, "7 Twitter marketing campaigns you can learn from," in the area of "Aggregate and organize event conversation." Kathy's team organized and executed a very robust social media marketing plan around the IBM Lotusphere conference. Bilal Jaffery, the lead social strategist on this effort wrote up a nice blog entry on the topic.
A key tactic that the Lotusphere team used was the IBM Lotusphere social media aggregator, which aggregates conversations across social venues onto one page for ease of discovery.
