You’ve surely heard of crowdsourcing, the process of tapping into the collective intelligence of an audience to solve business challenges and gain insight into what customers want. Now is your chance to be part of a crowdsourcing project and see the results.
The staff at SXSW is once again asking us to vote for the sessions we want to see at their event in March 2013. According to SXSW, public voting represents 30% of a proposal’s score. The SXSW Interactive staff and Advisory Board votes round out the remainder. See the pie chart from the sxsw.com.
Below is a list of 10 ideas submitted by IBMers, many focused on the value of social business. (That’s five more than last year!) You can vote for all of your favorites and leave constructive comments on what you like about the proposed session. Simply create a profile and start voting! Voting is open through Friday, August 31.
You can be sure, once the sessions are announced, I will share the results. Good luck to everyone who submitted a proposal and happy voting!
