There are hundreds of
reasons why someone would want to attend
IBM Connect. Well – there are at least 400
– that’s how many sessions are scheduled. And of those – nearly a quarter are
focused on Notes and Domino.

As a nine-time attendee I am
excited to be part of that group.  And excited to be presenting on one of
the coolest things about Notes (in my opinion).

Think about today’s market –
everyone wants mobile access to their mail, calendar, contacts and to dos.
And they want them on multiple devices, with 100% up time.  But how
do you provide that?
IBM Lotus Notes Traveler.

Chris Whisonant, lead consultant
at Best Methods and I are going to show you how to make that happen on Tuesday morning at 10:30 am.
In our session “Making Traveler Highly Available: Part 1 Traveler
Design”, we'll take you through installing
and configuring IBM Lotus Notes
Traveler, and creating high availability clusters to deliver the best
performance and up-time to your mobile users.

There is something in this
session for everyone. Whether you just want to install a single Traveler
server, or you want to migrate a single server to a cluster, we will show you
how to do it. Have a more complex migration scenario? We will give you
the tools to go home and design the right plan for your environment.

I have found that IBM Lotus
Notes Traveler is a tremendous value-add to your Notes/Domino infrastructure,
and depending on your license there is a good chance you are already entitled
to run it at no additional cost. Want to head home from IBM Connect ready
to provide mobile access to mail, calendar, contacts, and to dos across
multiple devices? This session will send
you home a hero.
